Rule consciousness

Before I came to the United States, many friends told me that the United States is one country of the rules and credit. In China, rules and credit are the profits of tools. The rules and credit are often trampled and abused.

Friends may ask, where are rules and the credit of American consciousness? Here I have a story. Langping should be known to most people. She was a coach of USA's volleyball team. One time she brought USA’s volleyball team to play game in China. After the game when she was heading to U.S., she did not bring her passport when she needed to enter the America. The U.S. HSD in accordance with relevant laws didn't let her to entry; she had to return to China for more than a month to wait to get her related formalities before the Department allowed her to enter the United States territory. This is completely legal equality in a flat surface of the typical case. In the United States, people must obey the law, and no one had the privilege. I don't know this kind of circumstance will be happening in China. Perhaps the HSD also abided by laws, not let Langping to enter China without her passport. Perhaps there is a leader to take a telephone to solve. What do you think would be?

Since I came to UNCG, I have the deepest feelings of the people to obey the rules with honesty and positive attitude. Legal consciousness had deeply rooted in every American’s mind; law-abiding is every citizen's responsibility and obligation, and strictly enforcing the law is guaranteed that can become the thorough popular feeling.

So I think when the motherland will have harmonious situation. From the historical development and 5,000 cultural inheritance observed, when our legal system was fully functioned, we would be a powerful country, such as Qin, Han and tang, etc. Now after the legal system was built, we have relatively perfect legal system, but there is the lack of certain aspects which caused our legal system with different degree of damage, such as unreasonable legal system, law enforcement system not rigorous, etc. How can true equality under the law with everyone? It is the process of constructing a perfect legal system in our society. We must further strengthen the work on this aspect.

We all wish to have a strong motherland; it continually makes progress, even little progress. We would feel heart-felt joy if our country became a powerful civilized society.
