First Green Leak of the Week - Recycling!

Dear Jackson Library Colleagues!

Finally (I know you've been waiting!) we are starting our series of Green Leaks of the Week coming to you from your friendly neighborhood Green Library Group.

At the staff meeting on  August 20th, I mentioned that there was some confusion about the recycling containers and what goes into each of them.  Here is a link to the OWRR (Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling) web site about recycling: http://www.uncg.edu/rcy/rcySrvc/bins

Your department liaison will be in touch shortly with you about these issues:

1.  Do you have the right labels on your bins?
2.  Do you have enough bins (and the right kind of bins) for your area?  Note: we might need to wait for a budget, before action can happen on this one...
3.  Do you know the difference between office paper (we get $$ for this!), commingle and trash?
