Native plants can be weird and wonderful, and you can grow them and watch right in your own backyard. Experience some of the extraordinary behavior of some of our most beautiful and interesting Southeastern native plants. This program is sponsored by the Triad Chapter of the Native Plant Society.

Friday, Jan 19th, 9:30 – 4 pm – Exploring the Outdoors with Aldo Leopold
Discover this interdisciplinary conservation ethics curriculum targeted for educators of youth 6 - 12th grades. We will also learn to use the outdoors to teach lessons from the environmental classic, A Sand County Almanac. Earn CEUs and credit towards the NC Environmental Education Certification.
