Successful Radford University Library Visit to See WMS In Action

Thank you to the many folks who assisted the library staff from Radford University while they visited us on Friday, February 6. They sent a big group (15 total), and we were able to show them how we use WMS in Technical Services, Access Services, Systems, and the Teaching Resources Center.

I heard many comments of appreciation as we wrapped up the day, and the group left feeling much more comfortable with WMS as they move forward with the implementation process at their library.

A message from Beth Johnson, Head of Access Services, states:

-----
You and your colleagues were so kind to meet with my co-workers and me last Friday. I know everyone was very helpful, but I wanted to extend a personal thanks to those of you with whom I spoke directly. I got a good look at “WMS in action” at your circulation desk, and had many of my questions answered about patron records, reports, etc. Thank you very much for your time. If there is ever a time I can be of any assistance to you, just let me know.
-----

Thanks again to all who participated and helped.
